Cecchetti Associates and Scholars
Talented children are offered the chance to audition for the Cecchetti Associates Scheme, a once a month class held in London to experience dance forms from various genres with guest teachers from West End productions, The Royal Ballet Company, and vocational Dance schools, to name but a few.
Very talented and committed students will be encouraged to audition for Cecchetti Scholars. This is a once a week lesson held in London where students receive intensive training throughout the year, culminating in a an end of year performance. These performances have previously been held at The Royal Ballet School, Rambert and Sadlers Wells.
School Productions
We are very proud of our fantastic school productions. These are held in Watersmeet Theatre. School shows give the children a great sense of team spirit and performance experience and gives families a chance to come along and enjoy seeing their child dancing on a large stage. The younger children love to see our seniors dancing in their pointe shoes. Previous shows include, Alice in Wonderland, The Nutcracker, Cinderella and The Four Seasons.

Competitions
We enter pupils for the prestigious Mable Ryan Awards in the Autumn, which are currently held at Sadlers Wells Theatre and adjudicated by experienced professionals in the industry (including Darcey Bussell in 2014.) Northwood Ballet School has had great success with candidates winning, and many commendations throughout the years.
Workshops
We have been very lucky to welcome West End stars to come to deliver exciting workshops. Including the Percussionist from the Lion King who gave the children a talk about being a musician in the West End and let them play the percussion instruments. We have had a cast Member from We Will Rock you and Matilda to teach routines from the West End productions.
