Larraine Heaffey LISTD
Miss Larraine trained at Stella Mann College, where she gained her Advanced RAD ballet and Associate teachers exams in National dance and Imperial ballet.
Miss Laraine then joined Northwood Ballet School in
1973, where she was taught the Cecchetti Method by Mrs Morgan and gained her Licenciate teaching qualification. Miss Larraine has built up and nurtured the school, successfuly entering children at all levels of examinations and coaching many students on to vocational schools. She has been a guest teacher with the Cecchetti Associates and was a member of the committee for the review of the Standard Examination syllabus for the Cecchetti Method.
Sarah Bradshaw FISTD
Miss Sarah trained from the age of six with Miss Larraine and Mrs Morgan at Northwood Ballet School and went on to Bretton Hall College of Performing arts where she gained her BA (Hons.) (Alumni include Wayne McGregor)
Miss Sarah pursued her teaching qualifications and gained her Diploma in Dance Education and Fellowship status from the ISTD. Sarah has gained Advanced 2 in the Cecchetti method of Classical Ballet and has been teaching at Northwood Ballet School for 20 years, she loves it with a passion. Sarah is a committee member for the Cecchetti Associates and The Cecchetti Group. She has written several articles for 'Dance' magazine for the ISTD and has recently enjoyed adjudicating at the Epping Forest Dance Festival.
Jenni Bristow DDI (ISTD) Modern
Jenni started dancing at the age of 3 at the Susan Handy School of Dancing, where she studied Cecchetti Ballet, Modern, Tap and Contemporary until she was 16. Jenni then earned her first professional job in a dance commercial for 'Train to Gain.'
At 17 she then went on to train at the Northern Ballet School, completing a three year course and gaining her National Diploma in Professional Dance, as well as her Diploma in Dance Instruction in ISTD Ballet. While at Northern Ballet School, she performed in many productions and their jazz company 'Jazzgalore'
After graduating, Jenni then went to work with MSC cruises as a dancer where she performed two West End style shows a night. Jenni then went on to complete her teaching qualifications in Cecchetti ballet and Modern Theatre at the LSTTC. She also teaches Tap, Contemporary, Jazz and Street Dance. Jenni is now having a break from performing and is persuing her teaching career, as well as being abusy Mum to her 19 month old daughter Esmee!
